Who is Yuriko?
Yuriko Tiger started cosplaying at fourteen in Liguria, Italy, and had collected sixteen contest titles before turning eighteen. In 2013 she packed one suitcase and moved to Tokyo alone, with no agency and no plan B.
One viral TV interview later, she became one of the first western cosplayers to break into the Japanese entertainment industry: TV shows, magazines, official ambassador roles for game and anime brands, and a run as frontwoman of the death-metal idol unit Zetsuperi.
Today she splits her time between cosplay, Twitch and DJ booths around the world, spinning anisong sets in three languages. She brings a bit of Italy to Japan, and a lot of Japan everywhere else.
